God has laid it on the heart of Yani Lim, of Bethesda Ministry of Love (604-451-9595, email: info@voicestogether.ca ) that Christians meet together in large numbers in GM Place, Vancouver, for a three-fold purpose ~
- Celebrate together and give thanks to God
- Give together – a harvest of resources for the poor
- Reap together – a harvest of souls for the kingdom
A prophetic act of Christian togetherness, thousands of Christians in GM Place ~
- Rejoicing and celebrating with dynamic praise and worship
- Dramatic presentation, dance, etc
- Relevant preaching
- City pastors “raising their voices together in prayer”
A generous act of Christian loving, giving resources to serve the poor ~
- A huge offering to make a difference and show the world how Jesus loves
- He loves the poor and needy, the neglected and abandoned
- The homeless will be moved from the downtown area by 2010 to be looked after elsewhere but what is the real answer?
There is a sense of urgency in the timing of this. A new opportunity for sowing lies before us when the world comes to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics.
